Designer Blouse 7

The main part of the episode is I stitched both blouses in three days time. That is record time for me. Otherwise I will be thinking...thinking...for the pattern itself for a week.

In this brown blouse it is simple neck pattern. Stitched lace with gold color beads, pasted motifs and stitched it at the back as well as in sleeves.

Actually there was not enough breadth of cloth for sleeves. So I was breaking my head to avoid attaching extra cloth underneath (where we join both sides of the sleeves, i.e. under the arms). Finally this idea flashed. Cut the sleeves into two halves lengthwise. Made long strip of cloth by joining 3 strips of 2.5 inches wide. Made folds, stitched both edges and attached both side of the sleeves, placing the strip at the center. Then cut the sleeves with paper pattern of exact measurement and later attached lining cloth. On the fold pasted motifs and later had stitched it.

Sorry for having not ironed the blouse before taking the picture.

What I cherished is I got special phone call from bro's wife to tell me that all were in praise of her blouse at the marriage hall.
What I missed is seeing her wearing those blouses.
